Q. What vitamins are missing in vegetarians or vegans? I’d like to know which ones to take.
A. For vegans, I do recommend taking vitamin B12, iron and carnitine.
I recommend CarniClear as it does have vitamin B12 and pantothenic acid, which is an added bonus, and will not be excessive when paired with DFH Complete a multivitamin available with iron.
Vitamins also missing the vegetarian diet include Vitamin A and D which are only found in animal products. I recommend a good quality Cod Liver Oil which contains vitamin A and D, and additional Vitamin D unless you get sun each week.
Emulsified Cod Liver Oil liquid by pharmax (2 tsp per day) or Ultimate Cod Liver Oil capsules (4caps per day) by Pharmax
and Emulsified Vitamin D (1 drop daily)
Also important for Vegetarians and Vegans are amino acids since they are very difficult to obtain in optimal amounts from vegetarian sources and can lead to many conditions and imbalances.
Amino Acid Synergy by DFH is a great option if you like capsules. Or if you’d like a powder, My AminoPlex powder by Crayhon Research is an excellent product.
